Custom Fields not on the Front of Cards

I have created several custom fields for my cards, but I do not want them to appear on the front of the card when I am looking at the overview of the board.  I only want them to show up when I click on the card.  I have not found a way to make this happen.  I need the board to be more condensed. Thank you.

Hi @Kelsey Lyon 

If you are referring to trello board, then try this:

1. Open a card
2. Click on the Custom fields button
3. Select the custom field you want to hide
4. Uncheck the Show field on front of cards option

Unchecking one, will remove the field from all cards of the board.
