Creating a comment in Salesforce that pushes back to Jira

We are able to successfully get comments created in Jira to display in Salesforce through the connector but have not yet been able to find a way to push from Salesforce to Jira.  There is no 'create' button--any insight would be very much appreciated!

Hi Cindy,

Julian from ServiceRocket support here.

Regarding your question, the comment from Salesforce will be referencing the Salesforce Case Comments or Chatters instead of adding the comment through the "Jira Comments" lightning component.

Hence, if we add a Case Comment to the object, with the right documentation, it will be shown in the associated Jira ticket.

For more details, we can refer to the documentation below.

If you have further queries, feel free to reach us through our Support Portal!

Best Regards,
Julian.
