Copy custom field values to another field

There are 22 custom fields with same name with different issues, i want to move the issues to one custom field and delete the remaining to avoid duplicating

You have to be careful while deleting something in Jira!

Questions: what kind of custom fields are they? Do they have the similar values? We probably need a little info to provide the right suggestion.
Go to the custom field context and compare if they have same info.

However, I would test them in the lower environment like test or dev instance before applying them in the prod.

Are you trying to copy data from a given custom field to another in an existing issue or are you trying to create a new issue and re-mapping the fields?

There are 22 External issue IDs (External issue ID created by JIM during import process) 

I want to move issues from all External issues IDs to one External issue ID.

Will this work out ,if so please let me know the work arround.
