Hope are doing great. I have a situation where the service account is adding blank comments and it is for a service desk project, I don't know the bottom of the root cause of the issue. Is there a way to restrict the comment getting added to the tickets. I tried modifying permission scheme, it did not work.

If this comment is added by a script, then it can bypass all permissions. You said you tried to restrict comments, but it did not work. I think that is a script. You should look for scripts, which add this comment. Maybe you could deactivate this service account and watch logs for some time. If a script tries to add a comment, there will be a error that the user does not exist and you will be able to see which script tries to add a comment.
