Calculating issue numfield1 sums and adding to trigger issue numfield1

I am trying to write an automation rule to sum up the values of a field in all linked issues to populate a field in the triggering issue.

I'm using the For Linked Issues branch, and have specified the link type it is relevant for. Now I am trying to edit numfield1 in the trigger issue field by summing numfield1 in the linked issues. 

I was inclined to use the Edit Field action and use the "More options" to insert json to do the rest, but am uncertain exactly how to proceed. I am not technical at all, so would need some specific feedback as to whether I'm on the right track and how to proceed.

Hi Jon,

Unfortunately, you cannot do this currently, we have an open issue (AUT-476) in our backlog to implement it.
