Hi everybody,
We released today JJupin 2.5.3. The major news is the Live Fields component is now officially released (so out of the BETA version!).
So what's this all about?
Live Fields is a way to script your JIRA user interface using SIL. You can hide/show/enable/disable/set/get values directly from the JIRA UI. You can add logic to hide panels (like time-tracking) without writing any Javascript at all. In short, JIRA UI on steroids.
You can run scripts specifically for the create screen - or for any transition screen (inline validation, SIL style, thus guiding your user and making the overall JIRA experience more pleasant).
Ready-made solutions:

Root documentation page for LF:

Available LF routines:

All supported elements and custom fields are listed here:

Of course, our approach insulates you from the changes in the upcoming versions of JIRA, as usually, so when the UI will change, you won't change the SIL scripts.
Closed, already old feature.
Because you asked: We just added support for KCF (our own stuff) as well.

This looks like it could add some really great functionality to JIRA so I will keep it in mind in case I come across any customers that would benefit from these functions :)
