All projects not returning in Canned Search Gadget

Hello,

I'm using the Canned Search Gadget on a dashboard. It is based off a filter that includes a list of projects. I've made the projects a dropdown value, but not all projects are displaying in the dropdown on the dashboard.

Can anyone help me with why they might not all be showing up in the dropdown?

Hi Laurie,

It may be helpful to provide additional details such as the JQL search query string, and how you are attempting to setup the Canned Filter (specifically, the variable). 

I've found success in the following:

- Copy over the JQL search string from an existing filter when setting up the canned filter

- In the Select Variables section, I've used both 'Text' and 'Dropdown' types for the project -- Text makes the Canned Search Gadget populate a searchable dropdown while 'Dropdown' populates a static list.

- I've left the Options field blank -- this can be utilized to limit the project options.

If you are able to provide additional details, the community may be able to provide further assistance.
