Hey Atlassian Community marketers!
I’m Cindy, a Product Marketing Manager on Confluence Cloud, and from one marketer to another, I wanted to share a brand new feature in Confluence that has become one of my favorite tools for collaborating with stakeholders outside the company.
Introducing public links, the ability to share a view-only version of a Confluence page with anyone on the internet via a unique public link URL. From copywriters to vendors to social media agencies, easily copy the link and share with any 3rd-party partners or even clients for easy viewing, without needing them to sign up for a Confluence account!
Within our own marketing org and beyond, we’ve seen this feature used for sharing:
Brand and content guidelines
Marketing playbooks
Content calendars
Terms of agreement, project plans, or scopes of work
External-facing blogs, announcements, or press releases
… and much more. Whatever your external collaboration needs are, public links help get the right information to the right people faster.
Public links are available on all Confluence paid plans. If you don’t see it activated on your site yet, ask your Confluence site admin to enable the feature for your teams to try!

We’d love to hear what you think, and about other ways you collaborate with external partners – drop your ideas and feedback in the comments!
