I've enrolled in jira essentials program I wanted to know do we get a certification after completion and if yes how ?

Thats great to get a certification of completion at least. I just want to understand if
Ashutosh is talking about the free course online or the actual paid Jira essentials program? Online, it says that you need to register and take a test, and pass it to get certification. The course is about $300 and test is about $35. Please correct me if i am wrong.

Hi, There are two types of certificates. One is certificate of completion which you receive after completing the course successfully. The other is the certificate of achievement which can be obtained by clearing the exam. We can get the first certificate for free. For the latter, we need to clear the exam after paying the requested fee.
