About You

As a Sales and Solutions Executive, we are looking for a hungry, growth-focused individual with the ability to grow and acquire a portfolio of clients. This individual will excel at creating strong relationships with the ability to balance and grow a portfolio of accounts, negotiate complex contracts, and build a strong partner network.  Proficiency in positioning Atlassian solutions is a crucial requirement for this role. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in leveraging Atlassian tools to enhance digital transformation strategies and drive client success. You will partner with clients to unlock enterprise value and deliver innovative strategy solutions based on digital technologies.

As a Sales and Solution Executive selling digital transformation services, your main responsibility is to develop and execute sales strategies to acquire and close new business. You will work closely with clients to understand their business needs and develop customized digital solutions to improve their operations and drive growth.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and executing sales strategies to secure new business opportunities, with a focus on incorporating Atlassian solutions into client solutions.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, including identifying new sales opportunities and developing proposals that align with their business goals and objectives.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to develop and implement effective sales strategies that target your clients' specific needs.
  • Conducting thorough market research to stay abreast of industry trends and identify opportunities for leveraging Atlassian solutions within client industries.
  • Developing and delivering presentations to clients, demonstrating the value and benefits of our digital transformation services.
  • Negotiating and closing deals, including contract negotiations, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
  • Providing feedback to management on sales performance, including identifying areas for improvement and developing plans to address them.

The ideal candidate will bring a combination of industry experience, a track record of selling Atlassian services, a keen desire and proven track record of account growth, and strong domain expertise in digital transformation strategy and technologies.

Business Development

  • Build, foster, and manage client relationships at the Sr. Director, Vice President, and CXO level
  • Lead from a perspective-based discussion to be able to position oneself and Modus Create as a premium brand.
  • Be solution-oriented and a problem solver and measure the success of discussions based on ability to create a business impact that in turn leads to growth.
  • Interacting with client-supplier and procurement relationship organization
  • Work closely with Modus Create Leadership, Practice Leads, and Client decision makers across all business and IT units.
  • Drive pipeline growth through activating partnerships with an emphasis on Atlassian.
  • Grow the Modus Create business by positioning high-impact digital transformation solutions within new Logos but also new Lines of Business.
  • Develop a deep understanding of client's business objectives and challenges, organizational structure, and key client stakeholders to build an acquisition strategy and execution plan.
  • Collaborate with other business groups within Modus Create to expand into new areas and drive growth in existing areas.

Job Duties:

  • Accountable for Revenue growth, new Logo acquisition, solution and proposal creation, lead generation
  • Perform sales management through rigor in the review of Opportunity Pipeline and performance against plan on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Drive demand generation strategy and execution
  • Lead the teams in publishing and presenting proposals (proactive as well as responses to RFP/RFIs)
  • Ensure adequate resourcing to service the pipeline at all times and escalate any resource concerns immediately to Leadership.

Required Skills:

  • Proven Track record of new business development
  • BA minimum requirement
  • 5+ years of sales experience in the technology services industry
  • Strong understanding and experience in positioning Atlassian solutions alongside other digital transformation offerings.
  • Proven track record in fostering effective relationships with senior clients both in Technology and in Business (e.g., CMO, Head of Digital)
  • Portfolio (regional or Industry based) of existing client relationships and Rolodex of contacts and success stories.
  • Strong work ethic, tenacity, and hunger for growth
  • Fast to adopt innovation and new technologies and integrate these into client work.
  • A clear Point of View on digital transformation backed up with experience.
  • Strategic planning and management skills

Having overlap with your team is critical when working in a global remote team. Modus requires all team members to overlap with EST hours daily. In addition, reliable high speed internet is a must.
