through Scripting create a report that shows time in each status for issues

the Scriptrunner script which provides a kind of information (may be post adding a read only field) like how much time the issue was in an each workflow status until closed.

if we can get some kind of report that shows time in each status for issues.  Something like this but without the cost of a plugin

Please advise me on how to obtain the desired outcome for the aforementioned criteria.

In Jira Dashboards, you can use Average Time in status Gadgets for your requirement.
