modify reporters field cannot be edited

I am an admin of two projects.

In the permission scheme, the admin can modify the reporter field.

And yet, I can modify the field in one project, and can't modify it in the second project.

What can be the problem?

Can you check if "Reporter" field is present in the edit issue screen in the project that you can't edit the field?

If it's not there, please add the field and you should be able to edit the "Reporter" field then.

You are right, the field is visible on the screen, but was not actually added on Edit screen, Thank you!
