edit description field formatting

Hi

I create a edit screen while the issue in specific status.

but the description field is in different formatting - for example - I cant create a regular table (just with the formatting you see in the attached image)

in addition the numbers are different, if I want to do tasks list with sub tasks it should be like:

* task 1

** sub tasks

*task 2..

instead of -

1. task 1
   1. sub task..

Do you know if there is an option to work with the regular description field?
