duplicate users

In a Project I have two user avatars for one user.

Checked JIRA instance users - there is only one account for this user.

Checked Project settings - there is only one account for this user.

See SB user on the screen.

What I did was simply reassign all issues to one account, and the other user just won't be displayed any more, since there are no issues on him on the board.

Not sure whether he still exists somewhere in the labirynths of JIRA, but there is no duplicate user account, and no issues assigned to the same person twice any more)

no solution right now - but a question: if you rename one user (S... ...huta) will the other one be renamed as well?

If so, that would be a serious finding - if not there must be (somewhere) a duplicated account for whatever reason.

Is there any chance to try to rename and report back what you found out?

Hi @Yulia Zhyliaieva The screenshot you showed looks like from the quick filter can you confirm that? if so can check the quick filter for both these users?

Also, from the screenshot I see same user profile image for AL same duplicate user issue with them?

Hi, Sagar! no, it is not from quick filters, it is the dropdown of everyone on the board.

And yes, another user is also duplicated for some reason
