Why can't I log in after recovering my password?

I am a new user. I have logged in some time ago but needed a password reset. Once resetting I still can't log on.

Hello Lee,

The password management will not perform password resets if either of these is true:

1. user credentials are managed externally (such as active directory, LDAP, etc.)

2. password management is disabled in Jira

I would recommend taking to the Jira system admin to determine if either of those conditions is true and what their expectation is for password management.
