While Performing Migration Using JCMA, facing an issue with the destination site.

atrayee.dutta December 6, 2024

While performing Jira Migration using JCMA tool , when asking to select the destination site " https://mercedes-benz-mobility-int.atlassian.net/" is not anabled. The option that is only enabled in the dropdown list is "https://mercedes-benz-mobility.atlassian.net/".

Please walk me through what needs to be done to get "https://mercedes-benz-mobility-int.atlassian.net/" enabled while choosing the destination site.

Hi @atrayee.dutta

That could mean you don't have access on that site.

Or this site not approachable for the network you are on?

atrayee.dutta December 6, 2024

Well, no that is not the case. I have the access. But after arriving at the situation where I am asked to choose the destination site , only the Production Site is available. That is appreciated but alongwith the production site also the testing site should be enabled.

How do i get to that ?

Hi @atrayee.dutta

Is this, the other url, a sandbox from the production or is it a compete different Atlassian org (complete other instance with its own management)?

If it is the sandbox you can use JMCA to connect to your sandbox instance.

Otherwise contact Atlassian Support

Hi @Marc - Devoteam ,

Please do have a look at the screenshot :

Having provided you the screenshot, in the dopdown along with what you see also "https://mercedes-benz-mobility-int.atlassian.net" should be there since I am having the Org Admin Rights.

As I mentioned.

You are migrating a on-prem to Cloud right.

Can the On-prem server reach https://mercedes-benz-mobility-int.atlassian.net?

It can be this is not opened on the server the in-prem is running or any where else firewall in the network this on-prem is running.

Check this with the IT responsible for this server/network.

they might have just opened traffic to https://mercedes-benz-mobility.atlassian.net

This doesn't relate to access on the Cloud instances you have.

Good morning. I apologize I was reading your post and decided to click on your link. I it looks like I may have requested access which isn't my intent.  I was frankly stunned that I got a message saying my domain (splitdimedata.com) was approved for access.  I never got past this screen:

I will say, your portals look very nice though.   good luck
