We need to add a new project for a different team and restrict to view only specific project for teams.
Even after creating project with option selection of "private", previous teams from another project were able to see the new project as well. How can we create different project for different teams visibility only?
Hello @Nirmit Rungta
Are you wanting to create a Team Managed project or a Company Managed project for this team?
Do you have both Team Managed and Company Managed projects active in Jira?
Can you show us the screen where you have selected the "private" option for the project?
We are fine with whatever options works best for having multiple project under one domain with feature of having separate teams into separate projects and limiting the visibility of projects other than what the individual is added to.

If you create a Team Managed project and set Access to Private then only the people/groups you invite to the project should be able to see it.
If that is not what you are experiencing, can you share with us a screen image of the People screen from that project's Project Settings? Obscure portions of people's names so that confidential information is not revealed.
Note that if you also already have Company Managed projects in your system, blocking those from general visibility is handled a different way.

Hello Nirmit,
You can also create company-managed project and grant "Browse Project" permission only to a group you want to see that project - in your case it would be that team.
Best regards,
Marko
