Hello,I am trying to create a SubTask issue type on a Team based software project.When I click on add issue type, I don't have the Subtask issue type to add from.Any suggested solutions?

Welcome to Atlassian Community! In team-managed project, you can have only one sub-task issue type, and it's already available in your project, "Subtask".

There can only be one Sub Task Issue Type as of now.
If your project doesn't have an issue type, you can add one Sub Task for the Project.

Hi Yanty,So in Company-managed I can create different subtasks types and in Team-managed I am allowed to use only the standard subtask without creating any variation?Thank you,
Yes, if you're a Jira admin, you can go to https://<your_jira_instance>.atlassian.net/secure/admin/subtasks/ManageSubTasks.jspa and create new subtasks. Then add the new subtask to the Issue Type Scheme used by your project, https://<your_jira_instance>.atlassian.net/jira/settings/issues/issue-type-schemes.
