Sudden missing of ticket in our jira instance

Lokesh Reddy October 25, 2024

Today morning when we logged in we found some of the data (ticket) were lost in our Jira instance and when tried to open the url it says the tickets are deleted or could not access.
We have checked the audit logs action by activating advance in setting like end user activities as well but could not find what has happen to those tickets.

Is there any solution we can find about the tickets.

Hello @Lokesh Reddy

Can you clarify for us which product hosting type you are using?

Are you using Jira Cloud, the Software-as-a-service product where Atlassian is hosting the application?

Are you using Jira Data Center, where your company has installed the application software on a physical server, virtual server, or server hosted by a Cloud provider like AWS?

What information do you see if you click on the Help icon in Jira and select About Jira?

Hi @Lokesh Reddy

Please check if any issue security scheme was added to your instance, making some of the tickets invisible to some of users.

If not, according to the error message, those tickets may be deleted.

BTW, if you're using Data Center, check if those issues were arhived?

Hope it helps,

Thanks,

YY Bro
