Set Linked Issues Description at Ticket Creation

I have a custom ticket type which I need to link to another jira ticket.

 

I am trying to use the native 'link issues' field, and created custom descriptions for inbound and outbound.

My question is, can I have the link issues field (first part) default to my outbound description on my custom ticket type. And that ticket only.

now it deaults all link tickets to blocked. That can remain for all other ticket types, but for my unique ticker type, can I set the description to detault.

I looked in workflow and didn't see anything there.

I just tested this and it appears that the default option that shows up in the Linked Issues field is user-specific and is set to the last option that the user selected when linking an issue.

So when I linked a new issue using the 'Deploys' link type and then went to create a new issue, the option for the link type was automatically set to 'Deploys'. Then, when I linked another issue using the 'Has Defect' link type (which is a custom link type we use) and went to create a new issue, 'Has Defect' was the default option on the Create screen.
