Removing collaborators

Hi-

I'm having the same problem another user posted that wasn't properly answered by Atlassian. I am simply trying to remove "collaborators". I was able to remove the people from a project and I have admin rights. But as the other user posted, the collaborators drop down do not include a remove button. So here I sit, instead of being productive, I have to manage through Atlassian's limitations and design flaws.

When talking about 'collaborators', do you mean:

• Request participants
• Watchers
• Collaborators single/multiple user picker custom field

I typed a reply but it disaapeared. Collaborator is the exact word used by Jira. I removed users but they still show up as collaborators with no ability to remove.
