Hi there Jira Team.
Hope you are doing well. I wanted to know that how to get emails of users in my jira software platform.
In the demo response they have shown that the email is coming, but in actual response we don't have the email as a field inside all users' response.
How can I get the emails of users. Because we really need the data for mapping users between our and jira's platform.
Thank you!
Hello, Good day. One possible reason is that end user's profile has email visibility restricted.
Have you verified the email visibility of end user's profile? https://support.atlassian.com/atlassian-account/docs/update-your-profile-and-visibility-settings/.
Adding another ticket for reference: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-74331
No how is that possible. Then we have to make sure each user must have their end user email as not restricted, which is hectic work for each one of them.

Welcome to Atlassian Community!
Instead of API, you can try to get the user details in the Jira UI and below is the navigation to export the users -
go to settings -> user management -> users
Thanks,
Tejaswini

But Tejaswini, We are actually making a product level application which uses api inside, there should be no need to open jira every time for each user.
