We are looking for a plugin which shows similar issues while creating ticket. If user enter any summary which matches or relates with existing ticket then it should display the existing ticket to avoid duplicate ticket creation.
Currently we got one plugin and its not cloud fortified. Hence we cant proceed with that plugin.(Similar and Related Issues Finder)
We are looking for Jira cloud plugin with Cloud fortified.
Hi @Prathap DL
One of the apps is Similar and Related Issues Finder but it costs 6$ a month. Another close way that you can tackle this is to use the JQL query text ~ which will return all of the issues that have the specified text in it.
text ~ "example" - will return the issues that will either have this word in Summary or Description or any other fields.
Thanks for the Reply.
Could you please explain or provide more details on JQL Query text and how to configure or use it.
Thanks

@Prathap DL for example:
The query will return all of the issues that contain the word "App" in it. This can be either the summary or description.

The above screenshot shows that User needs to search the text before creating a duplicate ticket. But currently we are looking for plugin or solution, when user creating a ticket in create screen if any words or custom field values matches then it should display the existing ticket.
Example: We are using Similar and related issue finder plugin and its satisfied our requirement but, Plugin is not cloud fortified and its not approved by our Security team.
Hence we are looking for any new plugin which is cloud fortified.

Hi @Prathap DL ,
Could you help me to contact with your "Security Team" and discuss the security features and Cloud Fortified situation of the app with them?

Hi,
Similar and Related Issues Finder plugin will be Cloud Fortified at the end of the November. We are in Bug Bounty program now and one month should pass in the program for app to be Cloud Fortified.
PS: I work for "The Starware", vendor of this app.

Hi @Bill Sheboy
Actually, I didn't recommend the app, I have just answered a question about the app. Also, I have used the word "We are" in my answer, doesn't it show affiliation? I have added an explicit affiliation anyway. Thanks for the heads up, I will read the guideline again.
