Modify a query in the snapshot tab "Insert JIRA Issue/Filter"

Hello,

I tried to modify the search of a snapshot tab named "Insert JIRA Issue/Filter", adding an info.
I only inserted the new info to the query in the "Search" topic, then clicked on "Insert" without modifying the other topics (Create New Issue & Recently Viewed).
Unfortunately, when I click on "Insert", nothing changes, the query stays the same without including my new request even when I refresh/take snapshot.

How to modify a query of this tab?

Hi @Eda Gul ~ I've come across this before as well.  Before choosing "Insert", click the magnifying glass icon to run the search.  Then click "Insert".  HTH

I second this, forgot about it.

This is required otherwise the search isn't done and the macro still thinks it's uasing the old settings.

Hi @Eda Gul, you could try these steps:

  1. Open the snapshot tab "Insert JIRA Issue/Filter".
  2. Make your desired changes to the query in the "Search" topic.
  3. Switch to the "Create New Issue" topic and make any necessary changes to the query.
  4. Switch to the "Recently Viewed" topic and make any necessary changes to the query.
  5. Click on the "Insert" button.

You need to make changes to all three topics: Search, Create New Issue, and Recently Viewed. This is because the query is stored across all three topics.

HI @Eda Gul

Welcome to the community.

Can you share some more information about your request?

Like screenshots.

This would help members of the community on what you are refering and trying to achieve

Hi @Marc Koppelaar

thanks, sure

=> The "query" in the tab I wish to modify is this one:
I tried to add an info to the query for it to be updated and integrate more results

Query to modify and not updating.PNG

=> When I click on "Insert", nothing changes

When I click on insert nothing changes.PNG

Do I have to do something else to change the query?
Knowing that, even when I duplicate the tab, I can't modify the query...

HI @Eda Gul

I do see that you have multiple Jira servers, is the one showing the correct server.

And if you try to insert a new Jira issue macro, does this work?
