Hi I want to add one more filter to Quick filter checklist that is "Status"- i want to filter tickets based on status while accessing Backlog-please help me with the query

You do not have such option in quick filter to choose the states from single quick filter.
if you really want to filter the issues based on the different status, you will have to create a different quick filter for each status.

To add new quick filter based on status, in JQL field, just type the status = "choose the status based on which you want filter the issues" and add it.
go back to board and click on the newly configured quick filter to view the filtered result based on the JQL query configured.
