Hello Everyone,
Currently, we retrieve our JIRA data using Tableau through a Web Data Connector. However, long term our goal is to get a subset of our JIRA data into a database we we can connect our reporting tools to it. How can we go about doing this? Is it possible to connect directly to JIRA tables using a tool like Aqua Data Studio?
It would be great to hear how anyone in the community has accomplished creating their own JIRA data source.
Thank You!

Jira cloud? No, you can't. The database is not accessible. However, you can do it through a plugin. Here is a list of plugins to export the DB:

Thanks @Aaron Pavez _ServiceRocket_ , @Matt Doar _Adaptavist_ ! Do any of you have experience using any of those plugins or have any recommendation?

Hi @Ernesto Donate ,
Many of our clients face the same issue after migrating to Jira Cloud, they lose direct access to Jira data. Some of them started using Snowflake and Databricks as their cloud-based data stores. Snowflake for example is easy to set up and can be queried with SQL. With our paid apps from the Atlassian Marketplace (Snowflake for Jira, Databricks for Jira) Jira data can easily be exported. Please check it out, if you don't mind using Snowflake or Databricks.
Kind regards,
The Mobility Team
