Is there any character limit on custom field "Business value"?

Question

We are using custom field "Business value" in the request to JIRA Rest api to create a feature.

Is there any maximum limit on the character length for this field?

Any help is appreciated.

Hi @Madhura Lodam

Go to:

* Select > Issues.

* Under FIELDS, select Custom fields.

There you will have a list of custom fields with types.

IMPORTANT: You need to be jira admin.

Hi @Madhura Lodam

You need to check type of that custom field.

For single line text field it is 255 characters, for multi-line text field it is 32,767 characters.
