I currently have a user account that was working correctly before but now I cannot assign a task to. The user profile was not modified prior to this happening. What can be done to resolve this issue?
If you've shut down their account, there's a good chance you've removed them from the groups/roles etc that are in your permission scheme as "can be assigned issues" for the project that the issue is in.
You'll need to work out why the account isn't in that permission, and then get it back in there. (Even if it's still inactive - you don't need to be able to log in to get assigned issues)
