How to use the reminder function for 'story' issue type.

Hi there,

I have a story issue type that is for a task that needs to be completed once a month, every month. So I want to set a reminder that goes off every 4 weeks.

I was a bit confused with the wording of the reminder function section.

Does this highlighted section in the screenshot mean a reminder will be sent every month? Or does it mean a reminder will be sent only for one month period? I am just not sure what to do with this option. If I wanted a reminder sent every month, would I for example set it to 12 months to send a reminder every month for 12 months?
