How to trigger a new ticket creation based on a particular status of a workflow?

Hi Team,

I have a custom Content Management workflow. I want to make sure that a new linked tkt gets created when ever the parent ticket gets to a particular status in that workflow.

hello @anasuya 

there is no out-of-the-box solution. 
you will have to use a plugin such as Scriptrunner to be able to do so.

Hello @anasuya 

1- You can use project automation. For example when your issue (A) go to status closed (issue destination transition is closed (for example) , (condition) using JQL that issuetype in (for example task , story ,...) , Then  create issue as subtask and parent is current issue and other options that you want to choose.

2- You can use these items in workflow
