How to see / edit the description of an issue within the new issue view?

With the new issue view, I am not able to find any way of seeing / changing the description of an issue.

When I switch to the old view, the description appears and I can change it

Is this the first time that you've tried the new view and you're now seeing this? Or have you been using the new view, but now something has changed?

It sounds as though you may need to configure the layout- open an issue, click the three dots at the top right and select Configure. I suspect that Description may be in the Hidden Fields section

It should be hidden because the field is usually just below the title :

Unfortunately it doesn't help  ;)

1) The description is not displayed below the title

2) in the configure option, I don't see the field description on the right column (hidden fields)
