How to restrict users to edit a custom field in the issue once it is filled by Automation??

Hello All,

I want to make a custom field editable only to a particular user and want to restrict users from editing this once it is filled. Is there any way to restrict this in Jira cloud??

Hi @Srikanth Vemuluri , create a self-reflecting transition on a status, add a transition screen with this field and add a condition 'User is in project role/group'. Add that particular user to the project role/group.

Only add that custom field to the View Issue Screen of the scheme and remove it from the Create and Edit Issue Screen.
