We have an automation set up in Jira where issues get assigned to a component lead automatically when they are transitioned to the "Waiting for Acceptance" status. However, this is only in certain projects and I can't find the automation that is doing this. I want to configure this same thing in a different project. I can't figure out if this is happening within the workflow or an automation.

I checked our Global automations and couldn't find anything, and I'm not sure where this would be within the workflow. Any advice on how to set this up or where to look for the existing setting would be great. Thanks!

Hello @Chetan Parmar

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

If the change is caused by an Automation Rule you should see evidence of that in the Automation panel on the right side of an issue below the More Fields panel. When you initially expand the panel it will show no recent rules and you need to click the Refresh option to show them.

After clicking Refresh you will see a list of recent rule executions that affected the issue. Compare when those ran to the history of the issue when the Assignee was change to narrow down which rule might have caused the change.

It is also possible that the change is being caused by a Post Function in the Workflow Transitions to the "Waiting for Acceptance" status.
