Hi,

I am using Jira Cloud Standard and have a Software Project. have a custom field in Jira that I would like to be populated by default with a table.

E.g.

||Issue Key||Summary||
|<issueKey>|<Summary of the issue>|

I have looked at using the Wiki renderer but can only get this to work for a description of the field, not the field contents. How can I make a field have a 'type' of table and have it actually be displayed.

I don't want to use an external plugin as I dont have the budget.

Does anyone know how I can do this?

Thanks!

Hi @Philippa Merrill

You're on the right track with the text formatting to produce a table within the customfield.

I'm assuming the part that's missing is that you need to change the renderer for the multi-line/paragraph text field to be "wiki renderer" format within the "field config" settings for your project (as default is "text").
