How do I invite existing users?

This question is in reference to Atlassian Documentation: Add, edit and remove users

I need to invite existing users into my JIRA cloud account, but I don't see any way to do it.

Hi Jarad, could you please exemplify the scenario why you would invite an existing user? Building on the fact he/she is already using using JIRA, I'm not sure if this resource would be useful.

I have the same issue:

I have created the user and did not send an invite originally, however now would like to.

Also they may have deleted the invite or lost it !
