How do I export a JIRA issue to a MS Word / Google Doc?

I don't have MS Word installed.  Here's what I'm doing to try to export an issue to a document:
1. Open an issue, any issue.

2. Export to Word (see screenshot below)

3. Open the document in Wordpad, which support MS Word in Windows 10

-  Or, upload the doc to Google Drive and double click on it.

Expected Result: To get a binary MS Word document with the contents of the issue
Actual result: I get an HTML file instead.  It's just text!  Wordpad and Google Drive can't seem to understand it.

I've figured this out.  You can't open it in Wordpad or other things that read traditional MS Word files.  You can open it in Google Docs by right-clicking on the file and choosing "Open with" and then "Google Docs".   Again, I've attached a screenshot below.   This will create a new doc that you can work with.

Don't double click on the original *.doc file.  That will only produce a screen of HTML / garbage.
