I created a project with a kanban board, where I described all the necessary tasks. As a result, I decided to give access to work on the project to other people, but for some reason they only see issues and filters. The roles are the same for everyone, all administrators, but how to allow others to view the board itself and be able to edit it like me, and not just view the list of tasks in issues and filters?
Hi @YuriiFD
I understand you have some users that can see the Jira issues, but not the Kanban board. Those boards are a feature of Jira Software (recently rebranded to just Jira). I can see you have Jira on that site, but you also have another product 'Jira Product Discovery' (JPD), it might be that some users are only licensed for JPD, and not Jira. If that was the case, then they could possibly see the Jira issues and the filters, but would not have access to the Kanban/Scrum boards since these are product specific features.
I'd recommend checking out which product access is being granted to the specific user. Steps to do that are explained in Give existing users access to products. If one or more users don't yet have the Jira product for their account, give it to them by means of adding the group membership to a group that grants that product access.
If that doesn't resolve this, then the other possibility is that the free plan Jira is limiting the project roles in a manner that cannot be changed, since free plans prevent you from changing permissions/project roles at all. If that is the case, then you might need to start a trial for Standard Jira in order to be able to change the project role/permissions to give that user access.
I hope this helps.
Andy
Even though, you are on a free plan you can still manage access to your Kanban board by ensuring that sharing and board settings are correctly configured. Free plan in Jira Software is a premium plan, so you should able to configure and your team can view/edit issues if a correct permission is given to them.
