How can I delete a completed Epic from showing on the list of epics when creating a new ticket?

We have many epics that are now completed and we don't want the user to have the option to select a completed Epic when they create a new ticket. How can we do that? Is there anyway to filter Epics that are selectable when adding a new ticket?

Change the epic status to Done.  Note this is different than issue status.
