How can I automatically move a story status based on the subtask status?

Hey guys!

There are times when our DEVs move the subtask to 'In Progress' status but forget to move the story as well, and it sort of impacts in our metrics.

I'd like to put an automation in place for whenever a subtasks gets moved from 'To Do' for 'In Progress', its parent (story/task etc) gets moved as well.

Or at least, somehow prevent the DEV from moving the subtask to 'In Progress' IF the Story is still in 'To Do'.

What do you guys think?

Basically your rule should look like:

Regarding your second point, that is restricting sub-task status, I dont think thats needed.
