Hi,

I have an automation rule set up to add a label when an issue is transitioned to a specific status. However, I’ve noticed that the new label overwrites any existing labels.

I’ve reviewed the questions and solutions here in the Community, but none of them have resolved this issue. I’ve tried using both the SET and ADDREMOVE actions, as well as adding the 'copy from issue' and 'copy from trigger issue' along with the desired label in the 'Values to add' field. Despite these attempts and their combinations, the labels continue to be overwritten. I’ve tested these configurations in the sandbox environment, which could be relevant?

Is there a solution to this problem?"

Thank you in advance!

Hello @Dávid, Anna Tekla (AIIS/Sen ITP)

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

When asking for help with an Automation rule, it will help us to help you if you provide the following:

- screen images that show the entire automation rule

- screen images that show the details of each step

- the output from the Audit Log for the rule execution.

Specifically I would want to see the data from the scenario where you use the ADDREMOVE option.
