Hello,

I use Google account to login (G Suite) and at every login I am forced to insert verification code, even the Jira two-step verification is disabled. Is this proper behavior? I rather to not insert the code.

Regards,
Mateusz

Hi @Mateusz Jakubowski ,

To further enhance our user security, when users log in or sign up to an Atlassian account with the 'Google Login' option, we are selectively verifying that the person logging in has access to their email address.

We send a One Time Password (OTP) to user’s email to be entered on the verification screen. You should only need to verify once per browser. If you keep the same browser session, you won't see that verification each time.

Cheers,
Daniel

Thanks @Daniel Eads

That makes sense, I clear cookies in my browser at every restart.
