GitHub not showing jira link

I have used the GitHub Jira integration app from Atkassian. evenything is connected properly (as per the prompts) however i can't seem to get GitHub to display the link to Jira

on jira i can see the commits though

To create links from GitHub to Jira, you need to set up "Autolink references" in GitHub. Here's how to do it:

Navigate to your GitHub repository and select "Settings".
Choose "Autolink references".
Click on "Add Autolink references".
- Select "Alphanumeric".
- In "Reference prefix", enter your JiraKey followed by a hyphen (For example: TSU-).
- For "Target URL", use the format https://yoursite.atlassian.net/browse/[Your JiraKey]-<num> (Example: https://yoursite.atlassian.net/browse/TSU-<num>).

This setup will enable automatic linking between your GitHub commits and your Jira tasks.

Do i have to do this manual setup for all my repos ?

I think you have to enter this per repo. Different repos might go to different Jira projects, and then you need to refer to the correct Jira-/ProjectKey.

I had the same issue where I saw the commits in Jira but no links in e.g. PR descriptions. I found that if I wrote:

[PROJECT-103] (instead of `PROJECT-103`), it did link.
