Is there a way in Jira where I can save created tickets and easily re-raise them again (but as part of new piece of work). reason is our team have different projects but some of the tasks are literally the same in every project so it makes sense to just copy the tasks. Obvs cloning is an option but I thought maybe there is a smarter (and quicker, more automated) way to save the tasks and re-raise them when needed (including the subtasks). Maybe there is a way where I can say the whole epic and
Many thanks in advance!
Welcome to the community.
We have done something similar in the past and used Automation for Jira to create the additional tasks when a specific issue type with a specific component is created by a specific individual.
This way when we spun up a new project we could has 20 tasks quickly created that were the same on all projects.
You could also use an App like ScriptRunner to complete this task.
