Hello,
I was preparing a free instance for a client who is interested in acquiring Atlassian. I set up a small instance with some configurations and created some guides to help them understand how to navigate Jira and other features.
Yesterday, on the 18th, I had an interface where the buttons for "Project, Your Work, Issues, etc." were at the top, but today I've noticed that the options are now in a sidebar on the left.
I tried to find out how to switch back to the previous version (otherwise, the guides I've created wouldn't be useful), but I can't find an option to do so. After searching online, I discovered this is due to a "beta" feature. I went to my account administration to see if I could disable it, but I couldn't find anything there either.
How can I return to the previous version?
Would anyone happen to know how to return to the previous version or help me with this issue?
Thanks,
There should be an in-product feedback collector option that should appear when this change happens. However even if you don't see that, I've created a support case on your behalf over in https://getsupport.atlassian.com/servicedesk/customer/portal/23/JST-1068941
I believe this can be disabled, but it requires a support ticket at this time to do so.
Andy
You can switch back to the old navigation by clicking your profile picture (in the top right corner in a Jira Cloud instance), then click Personal settings, scroll down to the "Jira labs" section (under Theme) and there should be a switch to turn off the New navigation.
This was working during the Early Access Preview and it's still working for me so I don't think they changed it.
Please note that this only turns off the new navigation for the currently logged-in user, it's not site-wide.

Welcome to the community.
This new view is being rolled out to al instances, so your instance will eventually get this as well.

Yes, I think the change itself is fine and personally, I like it. The problem is that I have the presentation meeting with the client tomorrow, and the documents I prepared are no longer useful because they have outdated screenshots. This could make the client have doubts, and the goal is for them to acquire the product. That's why I’m interested in going back to the previous version, so that the guides are still useful for the product presentation, and then I can update the guides later.
Is there any way to revert to the previous version, even if just for a few days?

Contact Atlassian Support, this can't be done by an admin.
Only Atlassian Cloud revert this.

The problem is that I can't contact with them because the instance version is free. Is there any other way to contact them?

No for free versions no, there is no support option.
I could refer a community leader, but I don't expect this to be fixed by tomorrow, as the mentioned user would ned to action on my mention to them.
I think adding new screenshots will server you quicker.
@Hans Polder Could you help in this case?
