Default task creation type not working

Hi All,

Since the latest release has anyone noticed that when you create a new task it defaults to task instead of story, I looked at the intended default and it should be story, is this a bug?

Hi @Stuart McNaught ,

The way it is intended to work, unless something has changed, is that the create will default to the previously created issue type. So it could be that your last create was a task.  Can you test that theory out by creating a story and then seeing what the create button presents next?

Thanks Jack, that is what I believed to happen and it does seem to work for a bit but then next time I log in it is back to task as the start type.
