Can dependencies between Stories be rolled up to their parent Epics?

In the Jira Plan (Advanced Roadmaps) Timeline view, I'm able to see dependencies between issues. Consider the case where two Stories have a dependency between them and these Stories have different parent Epics. Even though a dependency between the Epics has not been entered, is it possible for that dependency to be inferred and displayed on the timeline?

Hi @Steve_G,

No. Dependencies are issue links between Jira issues. They are not something that can be inferred or rolled up. They need to be physically created between issues in order to display them as a dependency line in the roadmap.

Hope this clarifies!
