Automations between boards

Question

We would like to set up an automation for when three tickets with the similar title are added to one of our boards, it triggers a ticket to be added to a different board. For example, if the tickets titled are "11.12.24 Maine," "12.4.24 Maine," and "1.14.25 Maine," We would like this to trigger a new ticket on our "Situations" board. Is this possible?

While something might be possible with an automation, please check out the automation library here https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/automation-template-library/rules#/rule-list?systemLabelId=all&page=1&pageSize=20&sortKey=name&sortOrder=ASC , I think this sounds more like a job for a Listener.
