Automatic Timer

Is it possible to set automatic Timer to an issue and give 24-hour to a user? When issue is Closed the timer will be stopped and Manager can see and check how much time a user is spending on an issue.

Consider using the SLA feature in Jira service management.

It provides exactly this.

Also look at the marketplace for time in status SLA feature.
