Am I losing all links when changing the issue type hierarchy?

We just switched to Jira Cloud and I wanted to add an issue type hierarchy level "Undertaking" between "Objective" and "Epic". When I click "Save Changes" it gives me this scary warning:

Moving or changing hierarchy levels of issue types will break existing parent links in all company-managed projects in your site. This change can't be reversed.

Does this mean all Story-to-Epic links that people already have will be removed?

Hi @flaimo  Story to Epic links won't be affected as you're changing the levels above the Epic level. Those parent links will be broken and you'll need to rebuild them.
