In the jira addon descriptor.  from the documentation I see that I need to add a websection and connect webitems to that websection, but I can't seem to do it.  I've seen the xml version, but the json version doesn't have the section attribute.

Old question:

I'm trying to create a menu item like dashboards in my json file, but can't figure out how to do it.  Can someone help me please?

Did you find any solution to this? I am also looking for adding menu item for ondemand add on using connect framework but its not working.

Thank you for the time in replying.  I've seen the tutorial you have posted and tried using the logic in the json format, without luck.  That is why I requested help.

I hope that will help. However as I see you are using OnDemand so it will be hard to implement this on your instance.
